College Application Essay Writing Workshop 

 

This four-day session covers everything from what admissions offices are looking for in an essay, to a final edit.  At the end of the course each student will have at least one essay ready to submit to a college.

 

Classes are typically held during the summer, in order to free up the senior year application process. Classes include:

• Brainstorming for ideas for the essay

• Learning how to structure the essay for maximum impact

• Learning the voice expected by colleges and universities in essays

• Ensuring good writing techniques

• Making sure the essay is unique
